Emboldened by the overwhelmingly positive response of the community and the students, the management perceived a need to develop into a University, where autonomy and self-reliance would place the institutions on the global map and would internally motivate them to higher levels of excellence. The IAE sponsored the formation of a new trust, the Yenepoya University, which after due process of inspection by the University Grants Commission (UGC), was recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India on 27 February 2008, vide their notification No. F.9-11/2007-U.3(A). The Yenepoya University is the first private University in the District of Dakshin Kannada (South Canara).

All the students of Yenepoya University those who belongs to Bachelors Degree Annual Exams to be held in March / April 2019, you are suggested to submit your examination application notification along with the fee at your respective college office on or before the last date (If you didn’t submit yet). The students of YENEPOYA those who are preparing to appear for the Undergraduate Annual Exams March 2019, they are eagerly looking for their examination time table notification.
Admit cards Yenepoya University will be published 1 month before the exams. Admit cars contain Students related details like name, address, center, time duration etc. Applied Students can download the admit cards from the official portal on online mode. Students who appear exams have to carry admit cards and id proof with them. It fails to carry, Students will not give permission to attain exams.
To Download admit cards type correct detail in web page details such as registration name, the birth of dates etc. after downloading admit cards from website take print copies of it and stick your passport size photos in specified place. Keep copies of hall tickets in case if hall ticket gets lost, miss placed etc Students can use it in place of the original.
Yenepoya University MBBS and BDS Admission 2019
At the UG level, the university offers two medical courses: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). Duration of the MBBS programme is 5.5 years while the duration of the BDS programme is five years. The University preserves 150 and 100 seats for MBBS and BDS program respectively.
Students willing to apply for both of the programs need to have passed 12th (10+2) level with the minimum of 50% aggregate in the Science stream.
Students seeking admission in MBBS and BDS program have to appear in National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) organized by the CBSE as per the norms of Supreme court.
Yenepoya University BPT, B.Sc (Nursing) and Post-Basic B.Sc (Nursing) Admission 2019
At the Undergraduate level, the university has three Bachelor’s degree courses: BPT, B.Sc (Nursing) and Post-Basic B.Sc (Nursing) focusing on the area of Physiotherapy and Nursing education. BPT, B.Sc (Nursing) and Post-Basic B.Sc (Nursing) program take 4.5 years, 4 years and 2 years respectively, to complete the duration.
Students are required to pass the pre-university examination from a recognized university/Board to meet the eligibility criteria.
Admission in above-mentioned courses depends on the marks of the qualifying examination and experience of the Students in the relevant field.
Yenepoya University MD, MS and MDS Admission 2019
The university offers Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) at the Postgraduate level with a duration of three years. All of the programs are provided under multiple specializations.
The Students interested to apply for MD and MS program need to have an MBBS degree from any MCI Recognized institution/university and should have completed one-year Internship and registered with the State Medical Council/Indian Medical Council. To apply for MDS programme, a BDS degree from any Recognized Institution / University is mandatory.
Students seeking admission in MD and MS program, have to appear in National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-PG) organized by the NBE.
Counseling for Admission to the Dental courses will be organized by Karnataka Examinations Authority.
Yenepoya University Postgraduate Admission 2019
At the Postgraduate level, the university offers courses like M.Ch, M.Sc.(Medical), MHA, MSW and PG Diploma holding a few specializations. The duration of M.Ch and M.Sc program is three years and the duration of MHA and MSW programs is two years. The PG Diploma is a course of one year. The University preserves 10 seats for each of the courses.
Students need to have an MS (General Surgery) degree or its equivalent from any
University recognized by MCI to meet the eligibility criteria of M.Ch. programme. To apply for the PG Diploma courses, Students need to hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.
Counseling for Admission to PG Medical courses will be organized by Karnataka Examinations Authority.
Those Students who willing to get admission in the Yenepoys University has to fill the application form and must pay the application fee. They only need to attach their NEET result sheet. The New applicant needs to fill the complete application form and also pay the Registration amount of Rs. 1000. As per the notification of UGC, the NEET score is mandatory for admission to Yenepoya University MBBS and BDS course. Therefore, to appear in NEET exam, the Students need to fill NEET Application Form.
